The Nokia E75 smartphone was made official this morning at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Nokia E75 is a candybar smartphone that features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for convenient text input.
The Nokia E75 has not forgotten multimedia, with its 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, LED flash, and accompanying microSD card slot for up to 16GB of storage. This smartphone features a standard 3.5mm audio port for a large variety of headphones. The Nokia E75 also supports the Nokia Music Store and Nokia's N-Gage gaming platform, for entertainment on the go.
The Nokia E75 features quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) support, in addition to tri-band UMTS (900/1900/2100MHz or 850/1900/2100MHz), with HSPA for high-speed data transfer. WiFi is also onboard for mobile hotspot use. The E75's built-in GPS receiver supports Nokia Maps for voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation.
The Nokia E75 is planned to be available in March 2009, priced at 375 EUR (US$479) before taxes and subsidies. Color choices include silver black, red, and copper yellow.
