Samsung Electronics announced the Samsung M7600 BEAT DJ today at the 2009 Mobile World Congress. Built with music lovers in mind, the BEAT DJ is a touchscreen phone that offers high quality Bang & Olufsen audio technology, as well as an intuitive user interface along with an advanced music application for finding and purchasing music.
The Samsung M7600 BEAT DJ allows users to add their own voice and sound effects to their favorite songs, and "scratch" records like a DJ on the 2.8-inch WQVGA (240x400 pixels) AMOLED(INFO) touchscreen display. The phone includes 50MB of on-board memory and microSD for external memory expansion. Music will feature deep bass and clear treble on the Bang & Olufsen external speakers.
The entertainment doesn't stop at music. The phone also features a 3 megapixel camera with 50MB of internal memory, along with a microSD card slot for expanded storage. Photos can even be geo-tagged. The Samsung BEAT DJ features quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) support and dual-band UMTS (900/2100MHz) support with HSDPA data for high-speed connectivity.
